I had a great experience working with Reliable Radon Inspections for a follow up radon test after activating the passive radon mitigation system in our home. They contacted me the day after I submitted my request and were very helpful in explaining the process, answering my follow up questions, and getting me scheduled for drop off and setup of the test the following day. Jim was very friendly and knowledgeable in explaining the necessary procedures to follow during the testing, and the initial setup of the testing devices took less than 10 minutes. The testing process went smoothly and a few days later Jim came by to collect the testing devices and process the collected data. After analyzing the data, Jim provided us a clear and detailed report along with a thorough in-person explanation of our testing results. He also gave us some great insights into the long term management of our radon mitigation system which was very helpful and appreciated. Overall we had a fantastic experience working with Jim and would highly recommend Reliable Radon Inspections Inc!

Jim was so very kind, knowledgeable and thorough with setup and explaining the process from start to finish. Setup of the testing units was quick, and you keep them for 48 hours as you go about your regular routine. When Jim came back, he was able to download the results immediately and send them to us via email. I’m so glad we decided to have our home tested, because we had elevated levels of radon in our home which Jim explained was equivalent to smoking a pack of cigarettes per day. I was mind blown, and we will now be looking to remediate. Jim gave us recommendations on local remediation contractors and explained in depth what we should ask them, and what specifically to look for in a remediation company. Radon, it’s a thing. During inspection, Radon came out much higher than 4.0 PCI/L reading somewhere in the 16 range, after getting it mitigated, Reliable Radon Inspections, Inc. Did a fast and reliable job retesting. They even saw there was a hidden crawl space that we had not noticed and placed a second monitor to double check for accuracy. Jim, the Radon Technician was professional, friendly and trustworthy. He took the time to talk to me about my own at home sensor and how to keep an eye out for fluctuations and recommended testing timelines.
